Power Jointing & Distribution Services (PJDS) was established in February 2000 by experienced ex-regional network operator trained employees. What started as a small operation has evolved into a fully operational work force, resulting in PJDS relocating premises twice to accommodate the growing business. |
In 2008, PJDS gained accreditation under the Lloyds National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS). This allows PJDS to become an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), providing an alternative to the regional distribution network operators (DNO's). |
To date we have a comprehensive skill base of personnel from administration, industrial staff, design engineers through to management, many of whom have been long-term employees of the company. |
All of our staff are directly employed and receive extensive training. We take pride in providing our staff with continual training and certification and supplying our teams with the best available equipment to complement their trade. We have instilled a work ethic within our employees to reward quality and productivity, making PJDS highly regarded within the industry by DNO's and major contractors alike. |
Our bespoke computer systems are written in-house by our own software development team and are kept up to date as the companies range of scopes and projects expands. |
In order to continue the growth of PJDS and offer the best service to our clients we attend Lloyd's, OfGEM, DNO and User Group forums to improve the whole ICP/DNO interaction. This ensures that we are always kept abreast of the latest information and developments within the industry. |
